A Word From The Author

As some of you may know, this is my first children’s book, and one that I hope will encourage everyone to open up their homes and hearts to rescues and strays. These three stories are as unique as the fur babies’ personalities, but the joy and love are the same. The journey to publishing Paws took much longer than writing it, but this was truly a labor of love. My hope is that it will change people’s minds about pet adoption and dissuade people from breeding.

Paws tell the stories of Eve, Copper, and Oreo through their eyes and what I can only imagine their feelings and experiences would have been. They were protective, loving, comical, and full of spirit, but most of all they were always there when we needed unconditional love. All three of them have gone to the Rainbow Bridge, but they each left a special mark on the hearts of all they encountered. Please share their stories so that other babies may find their forever homes!
